What is a full-arch rehabilitation on implants?
It is the treatment that gives back a complete arch of fixed teeth supported by implants. It is intended for patients who have lost all or almost all the teeth in an arch, or who wear a removable denture and want to stop depending on it.
You do not need one implant per tooth. A small number of implants, placed where the bone is best and at the right angle, can support a fixed full-arch prosthesis.
Immediate loading: teeth the same day
When bone quality allows, we fit a fixed, aesthetic temporary prosthesis within 24 hours of surgery. The patient leaves the clinic with teeth. The definitive prosthesis is fitted once the implants have integrated.
How is it different from a removable denture?
A fixed prosthesis does not come out, does not move when you speak or eat, needs no adhesives and does not cover the palate, so your sense of taste and temperature comes back. And because it transmits load to the bone, it slows the resorption a removable denture does not prevent.
This treatment is planned case by case. The number of implants, the prosthesis material and the timescales come from the prior study, not from a fixed package.

How we plan a full arch here
The order matters more than the technique. First the prosthesis is designed — where the teeth will sit, in what proportion and with what bite — and only then do we decide where to place the implants to support it. Done the other way round, you get perfectly integrated implants in positions that force a mediocre prosthesis.
Immediate loading depends on the primary stability achieved in theatre, and that cannot be promised before operating. If it is achieved, the patient leaves with a fixed temporary arch within 24 hours. If not, we wait for integration: forcing it is the fast route to failure.
The temporary is not a stopgap. It is the real test of the bite, the speech and the appearance over the months of integration, and everything corrected there carries across to the definitive prosthesis.
For mouths with active periodontal disease the process starts earlier, in the periodontics chair: no rehabilitation holds on inflamed gums.

The implants are placed using a digitally planned surgical guide and, if the primary stability achieved allows it, a fixed temporary prosthesis is attached within the first 24 hours. The patient never spends a period without teeth.
02 How long does the whole treatment take?
The visible part is quick: surgery and fixed temporary in one or two visits. The definitive prosthesis is fitted after the implants have integrated, a process that takes several months and should not be rushed.
03 How many implants does a full arch need?
Not one per tooth. Four to six per arch is usual, depending on bone quality and volume and on the strength of the bite. The exact number is decided on the 3D study.
04 Can you tell they are fixed teeth on implants?
When speaking and eating, the sensation is very close to natural teeth, because the load is transmitted to the bone and not to the gum. Aesthetically, the prosthesis is designed around your facial proportions.
