The surgical centrefor the difficult cases
Advanced implantology, severe bone loss and full-arch rehabilitation. This is where the cases a conventional surgery cannot resolve get resolved.
A clinic built for operating
Crooke Nagüeles is not a second surgery: it is the group’s surgical centre. It is equipped for what advanced surgery actually requires — theatre, sedation, 3D imaging and a complete digital workflow — and this is where the cases referred from the other clinics are treated.
What we see most is people who have already been told no. That they have no bone, that their case "cannot be solved", that a denture is all there is. In most of those consultations the problem is not the patient: the case called for a technique that clinic does not perform.
We work with guided and navigated surgery, with bone regeneration and, when there is no jaw left to anchor into, with zygomatic implants resting on the cheekbone. These are techniques that need case volume to be done well, and that volume is what this centre concentrates.
- Second opinion on cases ruled out elsewhere, with your radiograph.
- Our own operating theatre, conscious sedation and a permanent surgical team.
- Volumetric diagnosis with CBCT before any technique is proposed.

What we treat at our Nagüeles centre
This centre concentrates the group’s surgery. If you are looking for check-ups, orthodontics or veneers, those treatments are carried out at our clinic in central Marbella.
Why have your surgery at our surgical centre?
-
Severe bone loss
Guided regeneration, sinus lift and zygomatic implants. A lack of bone stops being grounds for refusal and becomes one more variable in the planning.
-
Guided and navigated surgery
Each implant position is decided on the digital model. In theatre we carry out what was planned; nothing is improvised.
-
A full arch in 24 hours
Where primary stability allows, the patient leaves with fixed temporary teeth on the day of surgery.
Not sure where to start? Tell us about your case and we will point you in the right direction, with no obligation.

Implants when there is no bone left
Bone resorption starts the day a tooth is lost and does not stop on its own. By the time an implant is due, what is left is often not enough to anchor it.
There are three ways forward: regenerate the bone, lift the maxillary sinus to gain height, or move the anchorage with zygomatic implants. Which one applies is decided by measuring on the CBCT, not by the surgeon’s preference.

A full arch on implants
You do not need one implant per tooth. Four to six well-placed implants support a complete fixed arch, and with immediate loading the patient does not spend a single day without teeth.
The prosthesis is designed before operating. The surgery is carried out to reach that design: it is what avoids the classic failure of having perfect implants in a position where decent teeth will not fit.

Gum and bone before surgery
The most frequent cause of bone loss is periodontitis that went untreated for years. Operating on an active gum guarantees the implant will repeat the history of the tooth it replaces.
That is why the process starts here: full probing, radiographic monitoring and stabilisation. Only once the disease has stopped is the rehabilitation planned.

Before and after full-arch rehabilitations
Full-arch cases on implants. These are not retouched smiles: they are mouths that started from a removable denture or from teeth already beyond saving.
-

Before
After Remaining upper teeth beyond saving. They were extracted, the implants placed in the same session, and the patient left with a fixed temporary prosthesis.
-

Before
After Multiple missing teeth and a collapsed bite. Bite height was restored first, and the definitive prosthesis designed against that reference.
-

Before
After A patient who had worn a removable denture for years. Primary stability allowed immediate loading: he left theatre with fixed teeth.
-

Before
After Severe wear and loss of vertical dimension. The rehabilitation restored the lost height as well as replacing the missing teeth.
-

Before
After Advanced periodontal disease with generalised mobility. The gums were stabilised before operating; without that step the result does not hold.
-

Before
After Front teeth lost and the bone in the area resorbed. Volume was rebuilt and the arch rehabilitated with a fixed prosthesis.
Real cases from patients of the Crooke group, published with their consent and without digital retouching. Results depend on each case and cannot be generalised: only a prior study can tell you what is possible in yours.
One patient on how it went
Antonio spent years with his mouth deteriorating before the full-arch rehabilitation. He talks about what changes afterwards, which is not only the smile.

Now you realise you were not well, because now you have a confidence when you speak, when you laugh, that did not exist before.

What patients usually ask us
01 Another clinic told me I don’t have enough bone for implants. What now?
Ask for a second assessment and bring the radiograph they took. In most of these cases the problem is not that there is no solution, but that the solution needs a technique — bone regeneration, sinus lift or zygomatic implants — that not every clinic performs. The first thing we do is measure the bone actually available on a CBCT scan and tell you what is there.
02 Why are there two Crooke clinics in Marbella, and which one is mine?
It depends on what you need, not on where you live. Nagüeles is the surgical centre: advanced surgery, bone loss and full-arch rehabilitation. The clinic in central Marbella handles day-to-day dentistry, orthodontics and cosmetic work. Same team and same clinical records, so moving between them means no repeated tests and no explaining your case twice.
03 I am travelling here for treatment. How is it organised?
It is planned before you travel. With the tests done here on a first visit — or with yours, if they are recent and usable — the plan is agreed and the stages grouped so that you make as few trips as possible. In a rehabilitation with immediate loading, surgery and fixed temporary teeth are resolved on the same trip.
04 Do I need a referral from another clinic?
No. You can book directly even if you have never been to any clinic in the group. What does help is bringing any radiographs and reports you have, even from elsewhere: if they are recent and usable, they save tests and shorten the plan.
05 Is there parking at the clinic?
Yes. We are in Urbanización La Meridiana, outside the town centre, and there is room to leave the car. It matters more than it sounds: after surgery with sedation you will not be able to drive, so it is best to come with someone.

Tell us about your case and we will tell you if it has a solution
If you are coming from a "no" at another clinic, bring the radiograph. The first thing we do is a diagnosis that explains why you were told that, and whether there is an alternative.
- We call you to understand your case before proposing anything.
- Diagnosis with digital planning and a fixed written quote.
- No obligation: if you do not need treatment, we will tell you.
